Bourbon/Whisky-Pull raffle procedure with numbered lots
- Eligibility: Participants
must be at least 21 years of age to enter the raffle and claim any prizes.
A valid license or proof of age must be shown.
- Consumption: Alcoholic
Prizes shall not be opened or consumed at the event.
- Ticket
Purchase: Raffle tickets can be purchased by reserving a seat at the Science Café
via Sign Up Genius or at the door. All ticket sales are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
- Drawing Date: The raffle
drawing will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025.
- How Raffle Will
Be Conducted: The raffle will be conducted by doing a Bourbon Pull. This means
that each bourbon/whiskey will be assigned a unique number. Participants purchase
a seat to randomly select a raffle number and win the prize with the
corresponding number.
- Contingency
Plan: If for some reason we are unable to conduct the raffle on the
original date, we will draw on the next Wednesday at the same time and
place.
- Prize Limit: No individual
can win more than $199.99 in market value of alcohol. If a participant
wins multiple prizes that exceed this limit, their excessive winnings will
be void and a new winner will be drawn.
- Notification of
Winners: Must be present to win.
- Claiming
Prizes: Winners must be present to win and collect their winnings at the
event.
- Compliance with
Laws: The raffle will be conducted in accordance with all applicable
local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Liability: The Midland
ACS Project SEED and its affiliates are not responsible for any loss,
damage, or injury resulting from participation in the raffle or the use of
any prizes.
- Intoxication: Alcoholic
liquor shall not be awarded to a person who is intoxicated.
- Amendments: The Midland
ACS Project SEED reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.
However, no changes can be made less than a week from the draw date, in
accordance with Michigan Lotto rules. Any changes will be communicated to
participants in a timely manner.
Refund Policy: All ticket sales are non-refundable.
Effective Date: These rules are effective as of September 22, 2025.
